Launch MediaServer and your iPhone/iPod Touch will appear as an external hard drive in your PS3, XBOX 360, XMBC, BOXEE, WMP... Then, just browse and play your files. Make a test with your iPhone photos ;)
You can use the photos and videos recorded directly with your iPhone, but also transfer files from your computer via a simple FTP client (such as Filezilla - http://filezilla-project.org).
For this purpose, we use the famous UPnP/DLNA protocol that allows devices to connect with each other. It means you can use this application with any stuff UPnP/DLNA compliant!!
* Your iPhone/iPod Touch must be connected to a WiFi Network.
* Your UPnP/DLNA compliant device or software must be also connected to the same WiFi Network.
* A FTP Client to transfer your files from your computer to your iPhone/iPod Touch.
If you encounter an issue playing a file, it means that your UPnP/DLNA device or software doesn't support its format. It never comes from the iPhone/iPod Touch as it is only used as a storage device and not a player one.
